Homemade Meatloaf Seasoning Recipe

SERVINGS 10 – YIELD1 loaf

INGREDIENTS

2 teaspoons dried mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons basil
1teaspoon black pepper
1teaspoon garlic powder
1teaspoon onion powder

DIRECTIONS

Combine dry spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar), mix well.

MEATLOAF MIX DIRECTIONS:

Combine 1 package Meat Loaf Seasoning Mix (as prepared above), 2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 2 slices bread, finely crumbled or 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs, 1/2 cup ketchup.

Mix Seasoning Mix, ground beef or turkey, eggs, milk and bread crumbs and ketchup in large bowl.

Oven directions:

Shape into a loaf. Place loaf in a shallow baking pan or 9×5-inch loaf pan. Spread ketchup over top of loaf. Bake in preheated 375 F for  oven 1 hour or until cooked through.

Crockpot directions:

To remove loaf when done, line crock with wide strip of aluminum foil, coming up sides of crock.In a large bowl combine eggs, milk, bread crumbs, and soup mix.

Mix well, then add meat. Mix thoroughly, then shape into a rectangle or oval that won’t touch sides of crock. Place in crock.

Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.

Makes 10 servings( appr. 3oz each.)
